She studied political science at Northern Virginia Community College and eventually hopes to continue her education in pursuit of a career in environmental protection, with a particular interest in our planet’s oceans.

Outside of work, Abby is passionate about helping people. She has volunteered with 4 Wheel to Heal, a nonprofit organization that helps wounded warriors acclimate and boost their morale during their time at Walter Reed Medical Center. She spends most of her free time reading a good book.
